Operator

IntelyGames is a brand of Intelygence GmbH. Intelygence GmbH is a registered company in Germany (corporate imprint: intelygence.com/imprint).

Heroes of Legends is operated by Intelygence GmbH, Messdorfer Str. 12, 53121 Bonn, Germany.

Scope

These Terms of Service apply to your access to and use of Heroes of Legends, including the website, game client, accounts, gameplay systems, virtual goods, communication features, and related services.

Accounts

Some features may require an account. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account unless caused by our fault.

You must provide accurate information where required and must not create accounts for fraud, abuse, evasion of restrictions, or unlawful purposes.

Eligibility

Heroes of Legends is intended for users who are legally able to enter into these terms. If minors are permitted to use the game, they may only do so with the consent of a parent or legal guardian where required by law.

Game rules and fair play

You must not cheat, exploit bugs, use unauthorized automation, manipulate the game client, interfere with servers, abuse marketplace systems, harass other players, impersonate others, or use the service in a way that harms the game, other players, or the operator.

Chat, names, and user content

If Heroes of Legends provides chat, player names, guild names, marketplace messages, reports, or other user-generated content features, you are responsible for the content you submit.

You must not submit unlawful, abusive, threatening, defamatory, hateful, sexually explicit, infringing, fraudulent, or otherwise harmful content.

We may remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, or take other measures where necessary to operate the service, protect users, enforce these terms, or comply with legal obligations.

Reports and moderation

Players may report suspected rule violations. We may investigate reports at our discretion. We are not required to disclose the outcome of moderation actions to reporting players.

Abuse of reporting systems may itself lead to restrictions.

Chat and community rules

We want Heroes of Legends to be welcoming to a broad audience. As a general rule, players should assume that public chat is intended to remain roughly PG-13.

Harassment, threats, hate speech, illegal content, spam, impersonation, attempts to groom minors, encouragement of self-harm, and other content that violates applicable law or platform requirements are not permitted.

Moderation decisions are made by human moderators. Many moderators are volunteers who contribute their time to help keep the community healthy. As a result, moderation decisions may occasionally be imperfect or inconsistent.

Moderation actions are based on the severity of the behavior, the available evidence, prior history, and the impact on the community. Whenever reasonable, we prefer to use the least severe intervention necessary to resolve a problem.

Possible moderation actions include warnings, temporary chat restrictions, temporary mutes, temporary account suspensions, removal of content, or permanent account termination.

In many cases, a short mute is sufficient to resolve a situation. However, serious misconduct, repeated violations, illegal activity, or attempts to harm the community may result in stronger sanctions, including permanent account termination.

The operator reserves the right to take action where necessary to protect players, comply with legal obligations, or maintain the integrity of the service.

Virtual goods and currencies

Virtual items, cards, characters, currencies, upgrades, resources, cosmetics, rewards, and similar digital assets are licensed digital content for use within Heroes of Legends. They do not represent money, property, ownership of software, or a claim to real-world monetary value.

Unless mandatory law provides otherwise, virtual goods cannot be exchanged for money, transferred outside the game, redeemed for cash, or claimed as compensation.

Purchases

If paid content is offered, prices, product descriptions, taxes, payment methods, and delivery conditions will be shown during the purchase process.

Digital content may be delivered immediately after purchase. Where legally required, we will ask for your consent to immediate performance and acknowledgement that your statutory withdrawal right may expire once performance has begun.

Withdrawal and refunds

Consumers may have statutory withdrawal rights under applicable law. Details will be provided during the purchase process where paid products are offered.

Refunds may be refused where digital content has already been delivered and the legal conditions for expiry of the withdrawal right are met, or where abuse, fraud, chargeback manipulation, or violation of these terms is involved.

If an electronic withdrawal function is legally required for applicable online contracts, we will provide it in accordance with applicable law.

Refund policy

Refunds are handled by the payment provider through which the purchase was made.

If a purchase is refunded, charged back, cancelled, or otherwise reversed, we will attempt to remove the associated virtual currency and virtual goods from the account.

Players intending to request a refund should not spend virtual currency obtained from the refunded purchase until the refund process has been completed.

If the associated virtual currency or virtual goods can no longer be recovered from the account, the account may be suspended or terminated.

Fraud prevention and economic abuse

We are committed to protecting the integrity of the game economy, our players, our payment systems, and our business operations.

We reserve the right to investigate suspected fraud, payment abuse, chargeback abuse, marketplace manipulation, coordinated account activity, exploitation of game systems, suspicious financial activity, and other conduct that may harm the service or its users.

Where we reasonably believe that an account has participated in economic fraud, payment fraud, marketplace abuse, or other activities that threaten the integrity of the service, we may suspend or permanently terminate affected accounts, remove virtual goods, reverse transactions where possible, and take other measures necessary to protect the service.

Where required by law, we will cooperate with law enforcement authorities, regulators, payment providers, financial institutions, courts, and other competent authorities. We may disclose relevant information where legally required or where necessary to comply with legal obligations.

We reserve the right to take any necessary legal measures to protect our rights, our players, our business, and the integrity of the game economy.

Game balance and changes

Heroes of Legends is a live game. We may change, rebalance, add, remove, restrict, reset, or modify cards, units, items, rewards, drop rates, currencies, progression systems, prices, features, events, rules, and game mechanics.

Such changes may affect the usefulness, rarity, power, availability, or value perception of virtual goods.

Availability

We aim to keep the service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, updates, security incidents, outages, third-party failures, or force majeure events may affect access.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts or access where necessary due to rule violations, fraud, security risks, unlawful conduct, chargeback abuse, technical threats, or other serious misuse.

Intellectual property

The game, software, artwork, names, texts, designs, mechanics, user interface, audio, and other protected content are owned by Intelygence GmbH or its licensors unless stated otherwise.

You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the game for personal entertainment in accordance with these terms.

AI-assisted content

Parts of the game may be created, modified, reviewed, or supported using generative AI tools. This may include artwork, written content, design exploration, development support, moderation support, and operational workflows.

Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body, or health, and where mandatory law requires liability.

For slight negligence, we are liable only for breach of essential contractual obligations, limited to foreseeable typical damages, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms where necessary due to legal, technical, operational, or product changes. The current version will be made available on this website.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Germany, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection laws of the country in which you habitually reside.
